Welcome to the Sample Site of PDI-europe.co.uk. This site is provided as a service to our potential customers. It has been established to give you an opportunity to request free PDI products (referred to herein as “samples”), and for us to obtain important information from you. The information which we seek from you is in the customer registration section and on product usage.
Please note that your request for samples constitutes your unconditional agreement to the following terms and conditions. We reserve the right to update and amend these terms and conditions from time to time, and your future use of this site will constitute acceptance of these terms. We therefore strongly recommend that you take time to review these terms each time you use the site.
1) Local regulations
Please note that each country has its own laws, regulations and practices to regulate a dissemination of information about medical procedures, products and services. Products promoted on this site should not be requested or used where this is in conflict with local laws/regulations and practices where you reside.
2) Who may apply for samples?
Samples will only be available in countries where the relevant products are authorised by local governmental authorities, and to medical practitioners trained in the use of the products to which the products relate. Samples will not be made available to members at large, or to anyone residing in a country where the products have not been authorised.
3) How many samples may be requested?
While this service is being offered, you may request a maximum of 4 free samples within any consecutive 4 months period. Only one product code of each can be supplied, although increased numbers can be requested for trials.
Samples of certain products will only be supplied once we have confirmed that they are to be used by a professional in an appropriate environment. This is to satisfy our own internal controls and ensure patient and user safety.
4) Is there any cost?
No, you will not have to pay for the samples or the cost of their delivery to you.
5) Who supplies the samples and by when will they be supplied?
The samples will be supplied by your nearest PDI Europe distributor, who will, where possible, provide the samples in person. This will give you the opportunity to discuss and raise any concerns about PDI Europe products and services.
6) Once you have requested samples, do we guarantee that you will receive them?
No. PDI-EUROPE MAY, AT ITS ABSOLUTE DISCRETION TO SUPPLY SAMPLES WITHOUT ANY OBLIGATION ON ITS PART TO GIVE REASONS FOR SUCH REFUSAL. This right exists notwithstanding that you have properly completed a Sample Request Form and had confirmation of its receipt. PDI-EUROPE AND ITS DISTRIBUTORS DISCLAIM ALL LIABILITY OF SUCH REFUSAL TO SUPPLY SAMPLES. Whilst we will use reasonable commercial endeavours to ensure that your request for samples are satisfied (provided you are entitled to request such samples), we may have reasons why we cannot satisfy your request. For example, samples may not be available for the product requested, governmental regulation do not allow their use, or users are not trained in their use
7) What happens to the information supplied by you?
On submission of the request for samples, the information contained in the registration and on the product usage page is automatically transmitted to us at our offices at PDI –Europe, Aber Park, Flint, Wales, UK and at the offices of your local distributor, in order to deliver the samples to you.
The information will be treated by us in strict accordance with our Privacy Policy. It will be used for external market research only. PDI –Europe distributors are committed to abide to the terms of the Privacy Policy, and we will use all practicable endeavours to ensure their compliance; however, we disclaim all liability for any breach of Policy by the local distributors.
8) Withdrawal of this service
PDI – Europe may withdraw this service at any time without notice.
9) Other standard conditions relating to the use of our website.
These conditions (including the limitations of liability and disclaimers set out below) should be construed in accordance with English Law. You agree that the courts in England have exclusive jurisdiction to hear and determine any dispute arising in connection with these conditions.
